Deadhead Miles Volume 2, a horror anthology featuring 14 tales of highway terror by various authors, is new from FoF Publishing. Each story revolves around a road trip that goes horribly array or ends in a terrifying twist.
"One Road" tells the story of three friends traveling from Palm Springs to San Diego when they stumble upon a deadly and bizarre world. Getting back to the road they know will involve sacrifices they'll have to live with for the rest of their livesif they make it back in one piece.
The inspiration for the story evolved from the idea of moving away from dark and scary roads people know not to travel down to horror taking place on everyday, familiar roads people don't expect to have trouble on.
